Wall of Fame

Amelia Fielding    
  Amelia has dance with the Adele Taylor School of Dance for 7 years and has  entered into competitions with the school, gaining many places and trophies.


She has also entered regional and nationals championships gaining places, including runner up British Senior Song & Dance.  In 2012 she was nominated for the IDTA International theatre Dance Awards and was awarded the Pam Tidmarsh Trophy for Modern Jazz.


In 2012 Amelia gained 3rd place in the Miss Dance of Great Britain Finals and this year is extremely proud to hold the prestigious title of "Miss Dance of Great Britain 2013"


She is now in the process of auditioning for full time training to start in September 2014.
Leah Darby    
  Leah has won several  awards throughout 2013 including winner of the Veronica Tweedale Bursary award at the IDTA Ballet Scholarships in Manchester, she was awarded the "le classique de danse" under 14 Theatre award, International Junior Ballet Champion 2013 held at the Miss Dance Finals in Blackpool (Retaining the title she won in 2012) and at the All England Finals held at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London she won 1st place with her Ballet, Modern and Character solos, 2nd place with her Song & Dance and Greek solos, she was invited to perform her Ballet solo at the Gala where she was awarded the Janice Fullman Bursary for the most outstanding Ballet solo


In her RAD Ballet examinations she gained 99% in RAD Grade 4and 95% in Intermediate Foundation.

She has recently retained her title of Junior English Ballet Champion at the English Championships, where she was also placed runner up with her Modern and her Song & Dance solos
     
Eloise Gledhill     
  Eloise has danced with Adele Taylor School of Dance since she was 4 years old. This year she has qualified for the IDTA Theatre Awards in Tap and Modern Jazz, to be held in February 2014 and once again has reached the Finals of the All England Dance in Tap and Modern Solo.


Eloise has also had TDCI Senior Tap and Modern Championship successes, gaining runner up in the North of England, North & West Yorkshire Tap Championships and recently gaining runner up in the White Rose County Modern.


She has recently reached the Finals of the English Championships with her Song & Dance.


Eloise has also won a bursary to help with funding her dance education and a place at Urdang Academy.
     
Maddie Lawton    
  Maddie joined the Adele Taylor School Dance in 2009.  This year she has won many awards including, Yorkshire Senior Ballet Champion 2013, North & West Yorkshire Senior Modern Champion 2013, she attained 3rd place in the North of England & Senior Ballet Championship in 2013, 3rd place in the North East England Senior Modern Championship 2013.


She was nominated at the  IDTA Ballet Scholarships held in February 2013  and in the finals gained 6th place.


She also was 3rd in the Senior English Championships 2013, where when also reached the finals with her Modern Solo.
     
Jessica Sierant     
    Jessica has now attended the Adele Taylor School of Dance for 6 years and has been successful in many championships winning Modern and Tap titles.


In 2013 she danced her way to the final 6 of Miss Dance of Great Britain. She has recently performed in "Miss Saigon" at the Wakefield Opera House and will be performing in "42nd Street" at Leeds Grand in 2014.


She has also been nominated for the IDTA Theatre Awards to be held in 2014.
     
Amy Carter     
    Amy has been dancing at the Adele Taylor School of Dance since she was 3. She was successful in reaching the All England finals in  2013 gaining 3rd place in her trio.
Amy is
currently rehearsing for the role of "Brigitta" in HLOC's production of "The Sound of Music"

She has only recently competed in the TDCI Tap and Song & Dance Championships, gaining runner up in both and has also received a scholarship to attend the Junior Associates SLP College.
     
Charlotte Town     
   

Charlotte started dancing with Adele Taylor School of Dance when she was 2 1/2 years old. She has played many roles in local amateur theatre including Mollie in Annie.


Recently she has been successful in being placed in Tap Championships and was 2nd in Hayden Wood Music Festival.


Charlotte was successful in entering the All England Regional Finals with her Song & Dance, Duet and Trios in 2012.

 
     
Hollie Carter     
   

Hollie started dancing at the age of 3. Once again Hollie has been successful in reaching the All England Finals, gaining 1st Place with her Trio and placings in her Modern Solo and Duets.

     
Abigail Thackray    
    Abigail has been dancing with the Adele Taylor School of Dance for over 13 years. Over the last few years she has consistently won places in Song & Dance and Tap Championships. Abigail has won bursaries in competitions helping her fund her dance education.

Recently she has been nominated to attend the 2013 IDTA Theatre Awards in Ballet and Modern Jazz. Abigail has been dancing with the Adele Taylor School of Dance for over 13 years.

Over the last few years she has consistently won places in Song & Dance Championships. Abigail has won bursaries in competitions helping her fund her dance education. Recently she has been nominated to attend the 2014 IDTA Theatre Awards in Tap and Modern Jazz.
     
Ellie Rose   
    Ellie started dancing with The Adele Taylor School of Dance when she was 4.  Ellie developed and took part in her first competition when she was 6. Ellie has continued dancing, regularly competing and taking her dancing exams.

Recently Ellie was successful in reaching the All England Finals gaining 1st Place with Ballet.  She has successfully auditioned for the MIDAS and recently competed in the TDCI Championships achieving 3rd Place in Ballet
     
Erin Price     
    Erin begin dancing at the Adele Taylor School of Dance at the age of 2. In 2009 Erin qualified for the All England Finals and was successful in wining the Junior Trio Section with Charlotte Town and Amy Carter.


Recently Erin played  role of "July" in Annie performed locally and has also gained a place at Scala School of Performing Arts.
